OPERATIONS UPDATES
RADIO USAGE
Grass Valley has two requests for radio usage. (1) For each patrol team, sign in up to two patrollers by call sign and the remainder as additional patrollers. (2) If for some reason part of a patrol team has to sign out early, communicate to GV that the remainder of the team is remaining in service in the patrol area.
AVALANCHE FAX
We automatically receive the Avy Report faxed at around 8:15 AM. Be sure to read it! The patrol going to Castle Peak should place it in a sheet protector and use the clip on the Castle Peak sign to post it on the USFS signboard. Please remove it at the end of your patrol. Ensure that the fax machine is not connected to the -3244 number.
